Five Random Recs

I was feeling a bit down and so thought of doing this as maybe an occasional thing: here are five nice things I've bookmarked recently:
Third Time Pays For All by JohnAmendAll (G, 922 words, Lucy Weston/Mina Harker/John Seward.) Lucy had been vaguely expecting a confession of a clandestine love affair between her fiancé and her best friend. The truth was far stranger.
Written for me in a recent meme, this is a lovely Dracula TV 1968 fic from the prompt Lucy/Mina/John & timeloops.
Appropriately enough, two very excellent DW fics from the
who_at_50 53rd Anniversary Fanworkathon:
The Scientific Method by nonelvis (Teen, 1723 words. Implied Liz/Brig; Liz/Kate Stewart) Five moments in the life of Elizabeth Shaw. Liz, being awesome as ever.
An Offer You Can't Refuse by Shivver (All ages, 4959 words.) Trying to recover an ailing population's stolen medical supplies, the Doctor and Ace come up empty when the smuggler's trail goes cold. Great missing adventure for Seven & Ace (never an offer I can refuse, that's for certain).
Dance Apocalyptic by thingswithwings and eruthros I really really wanna thank you for dancing to the end. Amazing multi-fandom vid about when the world is ending.
I get so used to finding no fic I like when I poke into modern fandoms (just endless fluff and AUs and ships), that I was actually shocked when I looked into Ripper Street on AO3 and found actual multiple good fics. (I suppose it is a fandom where one of the main attractions is its use of language...)
Inspector Reid's Catalogue of Criminals by shyday (G, 6616 words. Edmund Reid, Homer Jackson, Fred Abberline.) An archive fic. Great capturing of the voices - Reid, his obsessions and dreams and his archive project. (set shortly before 3.01).
