It's been a while (two a half three years), and I'm feeling fed up with never quite getting back to what passes for normal with me these days, so let's do this thing - let's play isurrendered again:

1. Comment to this post with "I surrender!" and I'll assign you the basis of some TV show idea. (Science fiction show, medical drama, criminal procedure, etc...)
2. Create a cast of characters, including the actors who'd play them.
3. Add in any actor photos, character bios and show synopsis that you want.
4. Post to your own journal.


If you haven't done this one before, it can be brain-eating and leave you pining for never-made (but strangely frequently cancelled) TV series. But it's fun and excellent for story ideas!

Make a historical drama series set in any period of your choice.

ETA: I realised afterwards that maybe that was too wide, which is unfair (maybe). Anyway, feel free to take it as is, OR for bonus cookies, make it a very underused historical setting/story, OR if you'd rather something a bit more out there, any Shakespeare play you choose, the big tacky TV Tudors-tyle soap opera version! Take as many liberties as you can.

Am I allowed to mix up different eras in the casting? I don't think I know enough actors from any one era to cast a whole TV show. :-)

Yes, of course! It's entirely up to the all-powerful showrunner of the imaginary show whether you use time travel technology for casting. ;-)

There's a house somewhere in the middle of nowhere that acts as a gateway to multiple parallel universes - our heroes guard the gate and have adventuers (with a little help from the resident ghost).
