For the icons200 challenge I've been gradually working my way through. I started these last summer and then stopped before I'd made the last handful for some reason. I have now made the last handful, and, lo, icons for the BBC's 1970s period drama The Duchess of Duke Street, featuring the ever-amazing Gemma Jones.

Date: 22 Apr 2017 07:55 am (UTC)(Which suddenly makes me think, because Joanna has a rather nice guest appearance in it - have you ever seen Zodiac? It's a very odd little series from 1974 that only had 6 episodes, but it's rather sweet and, if a bit slow in places, but I think you might like it. It has Anton Rogers as a rather odd police detective (he's only in the force because of somebody's will; it's very random) and Anouska Hempel as Esther Jones, an astrologist. Together they fight crime and argue about how real astrology is, which given the nature of the series, Esther pretty much always has to be right about. It's an odd little thing, possibly just made because it was 1974 and somebody thought they should attempt to make the most 70s thing ever, I don't know. (THis review is a href=http://cult-tv-lounge.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/zodiac-1974.html>pretty fair. I suspect it's not out in the US, but I manage to find it (or all but ep1, which is the dull ep anyway!) on YouTube.)
Anyway, sorry, I didn't mean to reward your kind comment with odd recs, but it was a sudden combination of stuff and tehre's no law says you have to pay me any attention! ;-)
