1. I went into town today so I am tired again (brain. what is that?) I made some gifs, though, so that was something. Also, of course, I went into town and now have a) pens that my Dad claimed weren't in Smiths (Dad, you don't look hard enough! /ungrateful daughter) and b) chocolate and c) books from a charity shop. (One from a crime series I hadn't heard of that looks fun, and another that is on the Norman Conquest to join my pile of books to be read on the Norman Conquest.)

2. Friending meme!
"I'm so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers."
A friending meme for Autumn 2018.

→ come and find new friends! ←

(I haven't done my entry yet, because tired, but hopefully I will. Still, friending meme! \o/)

3. Have a gif of Cherie Lunghi and Peter Egan as Princess Charlotte and the Prince Regent (from 1979) as proof that I made a thing, such as it is:

Okay, don't worry. I was just being curious (ie nosy) as usual.

That's the cutest gif. I had to Google the particulars, I admit.

Chocolate and books are always a good combo.

Books! Chocolate! Friending memes are less exciting, because if I did one of those I'd have to think about actually posting once in a blue moon. But chocolate! And books!

*peers at gif" Oh, hello Rupert Frazer in a most impressive jacket. They did like their spangles, didn't they. Although royal types still do on special occasions. Think what you will about royalty, but they certainly know how to dress!

Can I friend you? I need more Dreamwdith friends and straight away I was drawn to your username and icon. Love Queen. I can see from your profile you like Blake's 7 and I Love Lucy (I have the boxset of the latter). Vita Veta Vegemin!

A fellow Brit who's an ILL fan? You're as rare as hen's teeth. I might have to have you stuffed.

It's Vitameatavegamin though. You'd better watch the episode again. ;)

Any excuse to watch that episode. My other favourite is the one where Lucy and Ethel get a job at the chocolate factory.

Yes, a Brit who is a fan of I Love Lucy. Although to be fair, my Husband is American and introduced me to it (along with Car 54, Where Are You?, The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Honeymooners). We're only 32 and 31, but we love old sitcoms.

Excellent! Huge hats with feathers?

Does make you wonder how on earth people got about in ye olde days, without taking each others eyes out with their epaulettes or something. Possibly that's why they were always having so many wars.

Isn't Cherie Lunghi so beautiful? If Game of Thrones had been made back in the 70s/80s I would have cast her in one of the main roles.
Perhaps Margaery Tyrell when Cherie was a young adult. Or Catelyn Stark when she was older.

Cherie is MY Guinevere. I love the Excalibur film she's in from 1981.

Nice wave! I was thinking about 'Excaliber' last night, must be National Cherie Lunghi week;)

Enjoy the nice things from town:) The free bookshop has reappeared here, sans bookcases.

If my free book shop can reappear after a year so can yours, if your town centre has lots of empty shops!

Aw, sorry a nice sitting spot has gone for you. In the new free book there's only the floor and it looks a bit grotty.
