Yuletide Reveals: Adam Adamant Lives!

Yuletide has been revealed and I can now own up to my crimes, and also to my assignment and treats.

My assignment was in Adam Adamant Lives! for aris_tgd, which was fun, although given that I had a clear idea and plenty of time and a familiar fandom, it still all nearly went pear-shaped due to tiredness, and me writing a treat in the meantime for something that was just slightly easier at that moment, which ate everything.

Which is to say, I wrote casefic, I think it did end up quite good and all (I managed a limerick again!), but it is not the fic in my head, so it's very hard for me to judge, as it lost a lot of the whole adventure-in-two-time-periods it was supposed to have, among other things. But, still - casefic, people being tied up, ridiculous, evil ladies, a limerick - and once I got a bit better again, it was a joy to rewatch and to write, as ever.

Aw, thank you! I re-read it on Christmas Eve and thought it was actually pretty entertaining, so I hoped it was okay. You know how it is, though, when you have an idea for a fic and then for whatever reason, you can't quite write it - it's always hard to be fair on what you did write afterwards.

And thank you again for all your beta-ing! My typos and ME-dyslexic muddles would be many more without you! ;-)

I enjoyed it! Although I guessed it was you due to the small number of us who write AAL! I was amused you'd been watching 'Village of Evil' because it isn't the best for revision.

I didn't get to Village of Evil! My rewatching was so slow because I got distracted by shiny new telly downstairs.

They just need to get out of the capital every now and then. :-)

And thank you! I mean, I thought it turned out all right, or I would have defaulted, but there's just The Fic As Originally Planned and The Fic and the latter is just not as good in my head.
