I got this off
jjpor and I love the whole idea, so here goes:
1. Comment to this post with "I surrender!" and I'll assign you the basis of some TV show idea. (Science fiction show, medical drama, criminal procedure, etc...)
2. Create a cast of characters, including the actors who'd play them.
3. Add in any actor photos, character bios and show synopsis that you want.
4. Post to your own journal.
I am devising the show from the prompt
jjpor gave me, but that might take a while - I thought I'd set the ball rolling here sometime before next year. (I'm adding the disclaimer that I may be leaving the casting to my hypothetical casting director.)
(If you're interested, there's now a comm for it
isurrendered for TV synposis and even fan fic for the hypothetic shows. Heh.)

Hmm. Detective drama set in the 90s/80s/70s/60s/50s (take your pick; you can sell the resulting soundtrack album even if the show doesn't take) around a disgraced ex-spy and his daughter who's had to leave / finished her boarding school. They're forced to form a detective agency to fight crime and avoid poverty (because working in Tescos is less dramatic). With supporting cast as large or small as you like.
Sorry. That got kind of detailed in itself... *cough*

Date: 15 Feb 2010 07:39 am (UTC)SF sitcom set in an undertakers' where they've just landed up with some strange space/time anomaly (I leave the details to you). There's an even stranger flower shop next door. The lead is desperately trying to leave the undertaking business.
Erm. Sorry - I thought you might like something a bit weird.

And here it is (you'll probably be disappointed): Post-apocalypse sf future drama. People are turning into zombies. With much sarcasm and snark between the surviving leads. Feel free to blow up a beautiful location of your choice. :-D

Date: 16 Feb 2010 07:29 am (UTC)And, yes, I'd like to see 29 pages of just about anything from you. ;-) Plus, that means it should take you days to come up with a workable show like me if you did want to surrender. (And then you get the fun of challenging your flist to make more shows. GIven yor flist, probably more Spooks casting, too... It can't be bad.:-D)
